Siam changed its name to Thailand as the people of Siam found this name very meaningful because as of 24 June 1939 Siam was the only entirely free nation in South East Asia. In the Thai language “Thai” means “Free”. Siam is also the first word in our sister restaurant’s name.
Imperial means of a commanding quality, manner, aspect, and relates to an Emperor or Supreme ruler. Thailand is a Constitutional Monarchy whereby the Prime Minister is the head of the government and a hereditary monarch (The King) is head of the State. And Imperial Beach is the location of our restaurant.
